Well, it's been a slow few weeks on the food-front [I am sure that will change when I spend 132 hours of my life cooking for the Masters starting on Saturday at 9am] other than an interview with Villa Tronco for an internship this summer that looks amazing. I'll keep you posted.
So, since little has been said or done for the tummy, I thought I would share this amazing wedding shoot from one of my favorite blogs, Once Wed. Once Wed was started by an Atlanta bride who was trying to sell her used wedding dress and realized how few resources were out there for brides. That developed into an incredible website where they showcase photographers, calligraphers, real weddings, as well as my favorite part - designing their own wedding shoots to showcase a particular theme, like floral headpieces, textures, colors, "feels," etc. I love checking Once Wed a few times a week to check out what ideas have been flowing through their heads, even for ideas for decor or nesting in my apartment.
Please check out this awesome shoot they did this weekend [3 blogs long] designing a shoot based on Georgia O'Keefe and Alfred Steiglitz. I love using that as a starting point - the flowers on the table that she used as props, the cow skull, the pink desert tones, the vintage camera, the stationary that looks like one of her prints [maybe it is?]. I think that has been one of my favorite of their shoots so far. How cool would any event be with that kind of feel? You can find their most recent posts here.
